Knight Frank’s Research Department provides comprehensive information support for the company's activity and carries out active research work in the real estate market, as well as performing in-depth research of separate market segments on request by market players.

Analytical subdivision issues and publishes the market reviews of all commercial and elite residential real estate sectors in Moscow and St Petersburg on a quarterly basis. In addition to this, the department also has the following: regularly updated analytical products, such as maps of cottage settlements, logistics and warehouse complexes in Moscow and the Moscow Region, expanded reports and digests of the main news and analytical publications according to each market segments.

The department consists of professional researchers and analysts who have a wide knowledge in analysis, research or consulting in the real estate market. In addition, the department has access to highly developed channels for collecting information and new data processing and analysis methods.

Present-day real estate analysis is impossible without the essential Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Knight Frank’s Research Department was one of the first to start using GIS in the Moscow market. Nowadays the department’s specialists have access to geographical information on the majority of Russia’s largest cities.
