Knight Frank Awarded Best Consultant 2007

Knight Frank St Petersburg won the Consultant of the Year Award at the Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Federal Awards.

Knight Frank was delighted to win such recognition from one of the most prestigious awards ceremony in the industry. The Second Annual CRE Federal Awards Ceremony was held in the Radisson SAS Lazurnaya Hotel in Sochi on June 15th-17th.

The CRE Award was founded by one of the journalists of Commercial Real Estate. It is awarded for the best projects in Russia in the office, retail, and industrial areas of the real estate market, including developers and consultants. The winners are elected by an independent expert council, which consists of professionals from all segments of the market. This year, the event attracted over 300 market players from more than 30 different Russian regions.

For Knight Frank the absolute highpoint of the event was receiving the nomination for the best consultant in the St Petersburg market. Also competing for the award were such renowned companies as Colliers International and IB Group. Knight Frank won the award for demonstrating the most dynamic development in the 2006 results.

Roman Bourtsev, one of the partners at the Moscow office, was elected to be one of the judges on the Industrial Committee, responsible for evaluating companies’ performances in Moscow. Oleg Barkov (Knight Frank St Petersburg) also participated, sitting on the CRE Awards Multifunctional Committee.

On the stage, Andrew Zakrewsky, the senior vice president of Knight Frank Moscow, delivered a speech on the issue of investment, one of the focuses of the event. While on the exhibition stand, Knight Frank presented its finest projects in Moscow, St Petersburg and the Russian regions.

Despite being only halfway through 2007 the CRE Award is the third prize that Knight Frank has received this year. The Krekshino logistic park project, for which the consultant and brokerage was conducted by Knight Frank, took first place in 2007 in the Industrial Real Estate category. In February 2007, the Commercial Real Estate magazine ranked Mr Starodoubtsev as the No.1 most influential person in the Russian real estate market.
